By NTtrainer I thought this charger was the greatest thing around the first couple of times I used it. Now, less than a year after I purchased it, it won't charge the battery. The battery meter shows that is has about a half charge (12.5 volts) but there isn't enough juice to turn over a VW beetle. I tried to plug it in to recharge it but it is not taking a charge. It looks and feels very durable. The compressor worked fine yesterday but the internal battery in the unit won't charge. The user manual has very clear safety instructions, gives instruction on charging the PXS before using it the first time, standard recharging of the PXS (once a month), tells you how to jumpstart a vehicle, how to use the integrated work light, how to use the compressor, and how to operate the 12V DC outlet. In the instruction manual you will also find a toll free number to call if you have any problems with the unit or need replacement parts. There are diagrams to consult so you can become familiar with the unit. Great Unit By Recontaz I just bought this unit--NOTE-- (PSX-2 Model). First off I would like to point out. Most of the users that are not satisfied with this unit should read the instructions. And you can spend a lot of money on a name brand battery booster. Most of them do not last more than a couple of years (Keep it charged and you might get 3 years).
